Apocalypse: Copy Master

Gray looked around and found himself in a very unfamiliar bar.

Then he looked at his wounded hand. Besides the big wound on his palm. There is a glowing complex pattern on the back of his hand.

Seeing this pattern. Gray didn't feel that it's weird. But extremely lucky. What happened just now shouldn't be an accident, or someone saved him. It should be his unknowability that he didn't active till now.

Even though he was so excited about this. Gray knows it's not time to checkup what his awakened ability really is.

After all, he's not alone in this bar!

Looking around, Gray saw many other people in the bar with him, and most of them looking at them with a dumbfounded look.

From what he can see, it looks like they were fighting before he appears.

Somewhere holding guns on their hand, while others raised their hands on surrendering gesture with a panicked expression on their faces.

And of course, there is a man nailed on the table by a dagger.

"Where am I? Who are they?" Even though Gray is excited that his ability finally activated. He's also panicked about this situation.

He was about to be kissed by the zombies just now. And suddenly appeared here in the middle of armed group. Naturally, he will be overwhelmed and confused at the same time.

In fact, not only Gray who's confused. Everyone around is the same, After all, Gray appearance wasn't normal at all.

A huge blue vortex suddenly appeared in the void and then threw him here and disappeared.

Even though when Gray saw the man pointing his gun at him tried to dodge. But he wasn't fast enough. And the bullet penetrated his shoulder and mad a bloody hole on his shoulder.

"Bastard..." However. The gunman's actions. Angered the man who's standing not far from him.

This mand pulled the dagger that nailed the only man who was nailed on the table next to him.

Then he directly threw the dagger toward the gunman.

The dagger was so fast like a bullet directly entered the gunman's head.

The man who threw the dagger didn't stop and waved his hand toward the other people inside the bar.

With his hand movement, the dagger came out of the dead gunman's head who's already on the ground and moved in a circle cutting everyone throats.

"Awakener?" Gray who's in pain saw the scene just now.

That was obviously a superpower, not a simple dagger skill. So Gray thought of this man as an awakened.

"You also should be mutant right?" The man asked while controlling the dagger back to his hand then came to Gray's side to check the bullet wound on his shoulder.

Gray didn't know how to answer. After all, he doesn't know what his question means.

Mutant? What mutant? Is it a new kind of awakening? Or did the awakening ability became mutant ability?

The man didn't care about Gray's silence and said; "I slowed the bullet speed by using my ability. Although I couldn't stop it completely. But I lowered its damage, your wound shouldn't be serious"

After checking Gray's shoulder. The man stood up and carried Gray.

From his word. Gray knows that they shouldn't stay here after killing all these people. So he will search for another place to stay first.

Half an hour later.

Gray and the man who helped moved all the way to a random hotel around.

After entering the hotel room, Gray set down, and the man also came to his hide with a medicine bag full of tools such as gauze, alcohol, and pliers.

In this half-hour. Gray asked him many questions. Some of those questions where ridiculous, but he answered all of them.

From the information, he got, Gray already has an estimation about where he is and what kind of situation he's in.

First, this world is not the same world. After all, there are no zombies and life is still so beautiful.

Second, this world also has superpowers. But they call it mutant. This power came from mutant genes in the human body.

So Gray came into a guess. This may be a very ridiculous guess. But this is all that he can think of right now.

X-MAN MOVIE WORLD!

Yup this is Gray guesses. Even though it sounds ridiculous. But what made Gray think like this is the man beside him.

He's a mutant who can control the magnet field. So all Ferrous metals will be controlled by him.

Yup, just like X-Man super stupid old man Magneto.

Or you can say this man is Magneto himself. After all not every world will have a mutant who can control metal and his name is Erik M. Lehnsherr.

From the name alone Gray confirmed his thoughts.

"Well everything is ready" Erik besides Gray, looked at all the tools and said.

Then he started by getting the bullet out form Gray's shoulder. As he said before the bullet wasn't so deep. By cleaning the blood you can see the bullet head buried on his shoulder.

[Ding!!: found a new removable storage Disk.]

"HUH??" With Erik touching his shoulder. A weird screen appeared in front of Gray.

Looking at this screen. It so much resembles the normal computer screen. And the notification that has just appeared is on the corner of the screen.

"Is it my ability?" Looking at this screen Gray first thought about his awakened ability.

Come to think about it. Before he came here by the vortex. He fought a notebook with his hand and wanted to smash the zombie that appeared in front of him. But That notebook weirdly disappeared after touching his blood and the weird pattern appeared on his hand.

"So was this the damn condition to awaken my ability?" Thinking of this, Gray felt so mad! For three years as a salted fish with no power because his ability didn't awaken.

But his ability awakening condition was to splash blood on a computer. How the hell he should know this?

If it wasn't for the accident, he might never know this.

"*sigh*" After some struggling with his thoughts, Gray accepted the reality.

After clearing his thought's Gray looked at the screen in front of him again. Then he looked at Eric. But he found that Erik didn't notice anything, which means only he can see this screen.

Hmm, this notification usually appears when he put external memory on the computer, like flash memory or mobile disk memories.

Why did this notification appear now? Gray couldn't understand and look at everything else on the screen.

There is only one normal "My computer" Icon.

So Gray didn't have much choice and opened this icon.

What he found inside is the usual four Disks C, D, E, and F.

However Gray couldn't access any of these Disks.

Only C Disk was available.

Seeing this he entered the C Disk. But what he found inside wasn't the same files anymore.

Reading the file name Gray realized what the C disk contains.

So the C Disk where usually the system data is stored actually stores his body genetic information.

Gray tried to enter one of the files inside. But he found that he doesn't have more access.

Seeing this he withdraws from the C disk.

Then he looked at the extra four Disk under his Disks panel.

Still the same, only the C disk available.

Those four extra disks should be the new removable storage Disks the notification said before.

Gray suddenly thought of something and looked at Eric who already took the bullet from his back and is bandaging his shoulder.

After searching inside. Gray found a very different file. Not the file look. But the name of this file!

This file also confirmed his thoughts.

He can also see the mutant genes!

Since he can see the genes like folders. Then maybe.....

An absurd idea appeared on Gray's mind.

That is to copy this Gene to his folder.

Gray didn't pause and directly acted. This folder size is only 10GB It should take to long.

With coping orders are given. Gray saw the usual progress bar in front of him.

"Well, your injure is not so serious, it should be healed in a few days" But Eric didn't let Gray complete, and removed his hands after ending the treatment for him.

As soon as Eric withdraw his hand. The copy progress failed and a notification about the Extra Disk was removed appeared.

"So It's like this... To complete the progress has to stay in touch..." Gray wasn't so surprised about this. When Eric touched his skin for the first time this Disks notification appeared.

Now he withdraws his hand. The disks disappeared is completely normal.
