On the island of Punk Hazard. Admiral Aokiji and Akainu stood staring at each other. Both had their ideal for the Marine and saw Sengoku resigning as a chance for them to take lead and act upon those ideas. Sengoku himself even nominated Aokiji.

Akainu wants the seat of Fleet Admiral to act upon his ideas of absolute justice. While Aokiji despite not wanting the position of fleet admiral, was even more opposed to Sakazuki getting the position due to the latter's immense ruthlessness.

Without saying a word to each other they each activated their powers. Aokiji covered his fist in ice while Akainu whole fist turned into lava. Rushing forward. They started exchanging blows. Akainu sent out a right punch while Aokiji did the same.

Boom!

A blast was sent out that shook the whole island. The state of the island was already beginning to change. Half was covered in lava while the other half was completely frozen.

The two Admirals continued to exchange blows. Currently, they were both equally matched. Both Admirals walked similar parts in life. So this was a given. They were even trained by the same teacher.

But unfortunately for Aokiji, this battle wasn't just about skills are experience. It was a battle of conviction. Whoever wanted it more would be the winner.

In the sky above Punk Hazard. Kareem and Douglas were sitting down in chairs watching the fight. Kareem used his energy to cover the chairs and keep them steady in the air. This was a simple task for him.

"Douglas, who do you think would be the winner?"

"At the start, they seemed equally matched. Both it's already been seven days. Now it's a battle of conviction. The ice brat is tenacious I admit. But the lava brat seems to want the seat of Fleet Admiral more. This difference will make him lose"

"I agree. A battle isn't just about skills are experience. When two equals fight. In the end, it all comes down to who has the stronger will to win"

Douglas nodded his head at this statement.

Below them, the battle had already heated up. The weather on the island had already changed. Akainu and Aokiji were both tired but kept fighting.

The fight continued. Kareem was so engaged in this fight. He felt like he was watching a movie. The battle continued for three more days. On the final day, Kareem saw how Aokiji ended up losing his left leg and severely damaging his right arm. After this, he fell from fatigue and blood loss fainting.

"It was a good fight Aokiji but you lack the conviction" saying that Akainu fainted.

The Marines who were watching the fight from far away from were shocked at the outcome. Many were rooting for Aokiji. While few if any were hoping for Akainu to win. Now with the outcome of the battle decided. They knew many changes will come to the Marines. While they headed for the Island they saw someone fall from the sky. That person picked up Admiral Aokiji and disappeared in a yellow flash.

In the air, Kareem appeared beside Douglas with Aokiji in his arm.

"Let's go"

Placing Aokiji down on the ground. He touched Aokiji's forehead. Activating the power of the Jade Emperor. Vital energy started flowing out of him healing Aokiji rapidly. With Kareem immortality. Using vital energy to heal someone was nothing to him. Aokiji's arm healed even his leg regenerated. Such was the power of the sage.

Kareem even restored his clothes. He and Douglas patiently waited for a few hours for Aokiji to wake up.

"Cough cough" Akoji woke up coughing.

"You're awake. That's good"

Aokiji looked up and saw Kareem and Douglas standing in front of him.

"Sword Saint Vali and Douglas Bullet? Where"

"Let me stop you right there," Kareem said raising his hand.

"First of all, you lost to Akainu. He should be prompted to Fleet Admiral soon. After your defeat, I took your body and brought you here. I even healed your injurious"

Aokiji looked down at his leg and saw it completely healed.

"But how ?" he remembered losing it before fainting.

"I'll tell you that later. But first, hear me the reason for healing you" Kareem went on explained to him how he wanted him to join his team.

That he was from a place called the Cultivation Realm and he stumbled upon this world by accident. He offered Aokiji to join him and in exchange, he would make him stronger. One day he could even return to this world and change the marines are even the whole world with his strength alone.

"I agree. With my current strength, I can't change anything. I was planning on resigning anyway. Joining you sounds interesting" Aokiji said casually.

Since he already lost he has no reason to stay with the Marines. Might as well go with Kareem and Douglas.

He touched Douglas and Aokji shoulder and teleported to Sabaody Archipelago. Inside of Shakky's Rip-off Bar.

Shakky and Rayleigh were a bit surprised but after all of what Kareem told them. Him randomly appearing before them isn't that weird. But what did surprised them was seeing Douglas and Aokiji with him.

"Sorry for the sudden intrusion. But have you two made up your minds?"

"Yes we have. I've already had my adventure. Now I just want to relax and enjoy my time with my wife" Rayleigh said looking at Shakky who was smiling at him.

"I see. I can't say I'm not disappointed. Nevertheless, it was still nice meeting you two. Since this is goodbye allow me to give you a gift" Kareem took out two small containers of spirit essence water.

"This is called spirit essence water. It will help you live a bit longer and also has the effect of increasing a women's beauty" he handed the bottles over to Rayleigh.

"Thank you," Shakky said with a smile.

"Douglas, you're going with him?" Rayleigh asked curiously but he already knew the answer.

"I'm not done adventuring yet Rayleigh"

"Well allow me to show you something interesting before I go" saying that Kareem walked outside with them following behind.

The Yamato appeared in his hands. Kareem equipped the rob of the sage. While his hair turned black. Turning into Super Saiyan four. His pupils turned to the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan of Obitio. He dragged Yamato out its sheat and with one slash. The void was spliced open.

"Well it's been fun but goodbye one piece world," Kareem thought.

Turning around he said goodbye to Rayleigh and Shakky and walked through along with Douglas. Aokiji waved goodbye before also walking through.
