Angel After Death

a year before the reincarnation event, shu got a call from department of history . they discovered a new ruin in the border between india-china in a hilly place . the govt was planning to conduct a secret study to prevent international dispute .and as the most knowledgeable person who knows multiple extinct language, govt request him to help them out with the studies.he was not a person who was emotionally attached with nationalism,so he rejection at first cause the government didn't say anything about remuneration thinking him as a kid who will do anything for the country .later he agreed after doing a bargain with the government . he is Allowed to keep one thing from the excavation site .it was a heavy bargain and his skills where no less then a professional bargainer.the govt was shocked but they where able to control it by adding an additional skill to his "list of skills".they agreed to go there within next month .

a month went by just like that .he got ready and the military picked him up .they flew to the airbase near to the border , to prevent border dispute they went to the ruins by a military Jeep .after making sure that they are not being tracked, they went inside a crack in the mountain.their was a cave created by running water and they used air boat to travel ,then suddenly the water flow became fast indicating a huge waterfall , they where not ready for it and the height of the fall itself made some people die due to heart problem . out of the 100 people who went , including military, scientist and excavators from department of history.nearly 20 died on the fall some due to heart disease while other due to impact most of them where old . however they didn't stop , the military continued on . the water was different here . they have a glow to them , they rocks are providing light , the plants where beautiful , the scientist where so fascinated by all this that they forgot about the death of fellow mates and got involved in collecting samples for their research. after gathering all the data, they moved forward .they reached a big door with some character written on the door. shu tried to interpret the words by figuring out the year and to his surprise found that they where not recorded in any history books . suddenly he got interested in knowing more about it since it's the first time that he felt challenging. he studied the door for some time and to his surprise he saw golden lines running through the door as if binding it in place to prevent from opening.he got engrossed in those running lines.he went into a trace and spelled out mysterious words , his each words where like having power beyond this world and when he spelled the last words .the ruins vanished, he regained his conscience and touched the door .the door slowly moved and they found a structure made of mysterious rocks which is harder then diamond .they walked through the rock corridor into a big palace like structure made up of luminous rocks .it was a magnificent view .they decided to camp outside and rest .

during the night shu found himself looking at the palace , he felt like something is calling him to wake up .so he walked towards the source .he found himself looking at a small door to the side of the palace .he opened it and found darkness .not even the luminous walls can penetrate the darkness .he walked into it like it was his home .he can feel everything in the darkness like it was his place , like he was born here .he walked for a wmfew hours or a few days , who knows .he even tried to count his footsteps but he stopped after reaching a million , he didn't feel tired but instead he felt strong .like this darkness is his source of power .he felt like he could command them to do anything but don't know how to .he walked for a long time before he saw a light .the light was strong enough to devour the darkness and the darkness was staying away from it .he ran forward towards the source of the light .he ran for ever until he reach it somehow , he reached a dark podium on which lays a half ball . he touched it and felt his soul leave his body .his soul was getting strengthened by the power .it started creation it's own glow .and when it fully absorbed the power it returned to his body . suddenly the darkness surged towards him , like someone is calling them back home .they entered through his skin into his soul to form a dark outer cover to his golden seal , like nurturing it with it's power .he walked the way back ,after a long time he returned back to the door and found that it has only been a second in the world .he was curious of course but he was not a fool if he said about what happened here to anyone else , the govt will use him as a lab rat to study so he kept mum . the ruin was filled with various treasure . technically half of it belongs to the other country since it's in their border .so the govt agree to share half of it after they took back their half that is . since he was allowed keep one item .he got himself a ancient armor from it .the moment he touched it , it merged with his body he was blown out by it .how can a metal armor merge with my body ? it's not possible in it's solid state so how can this happen .he conducted research on it for a year or so until the accident occur , his memory was not clear about what happened .so he felt like if he found the reason out , he can return if he wants to .
