“I heard that people from Yuqing Sect are coming today.”

“Yuqing Sect? That Yuqing Sect? Those people are so weak and spindly—what are they coming here for? To feed the monsters?”

“Don’t be like that. At least…” an indecent-looking cultivator lowered his voice, “They’re good in bed.”

“Bah! San’er, you’d better keep your head straight. If your legs weaken because of them, you’ll die on the battlefield!”

“They’re here, they’re here! Shut your traps everyone, stop talking!”

On the campgrounds in front of the Xiyu Mountains, there were bursts of light one after another at the teleportation formation, and soon, there was a group of about twenty people standing there. They were all in broad robes and wide sleeves, their hems fluttering, and at a glance, it was as if one had accidentally entered the realm of the immortals.
Within this realm, everyone had divine looks.

And among this group of people who looked like immortals, the most eye-catching one wasn’t the beautiful leader, but the young female cultivator behind the leader.
She was dressed in yellow and wearing a jade ornament at her waist. Her hair draped loosely around her, and her beautiful eyes were brimming with energy. She exuded a distinguished and graceful charm, and seemed to move with the calm serenity of an immortal. Although she looked young in terms of bone age, she was already a paragon of beauty.

“Who is that? It’s a new face.”

Unlike the daughter of Taibai Sect’s sect leader, who held the title of the most beautiful woman in the Heavenly Realms, this was Zheng Wan’s first formal appearance among the orthodox sects apart from the disciple recruitment previously.

For the vast majority of disciples of the orthodox sects, their first impression of her was:
This young lady of the Yuqing Sect is really beautiful.

After the initial amazement, they continued to think that if they could practice dual cultivation with this beauty just once, even if it would cost them some of their cultivation by having their vital energy plundered, they would still be willing to do it—— Of course, this thought was just a fleeting one.

After all, there is no one whose vital energy wasn’t cultivated through hard work.

Zheng Wan has lived in the spotlight since she was a child, and has thus been the recipient of many looks of amazement, jealousy, and envy. As such, she took the reactions in stride and carried on doing what she was supposed to. Following the team leader, she walked towards the campgrounds, her large eyes looking left and right curiously; the scenery here was really strange and unique.

One after another, large grey cloth bags were tossed on the ground. She saw disciples of various sects coming and going. Some walked hurriedly, gathering in teams before heading out, while some came back in from outside with faces full of exhaustion.
The large grey bags reminded her of a certain nomadic tribe in the mortal world. She heard that they lived on horseback all year round, living wherever they stopped. They usually didn’t build earthen houses and had all of their possessions in cloth bags.

Second Senior Sister stood beside her, her oval face full of worry. “Fourth Junior Sister… I don’t know if she will be coming.”

Although Zheng Wan liked her Second Senior Sister’s gentleness and thoughtfulness, she didn’t like Fourth Senior Sister’s childish temper at all. She just said a few words of consolation without meaning them and stopped talking about it. Just then, a flash of white light came from the teleportation formation behind them, and the Fourth Senior Sister who her Second Senior Sister was just talking about stepped out of the formation.

“Who says I’m not coming?” came a haughty voice.

Zheng Wan greeted her with a smile.

The team leader at the front was a male cultivator from another peak. He was at the great perfection stage of the Accomplisher stage and had a warm voice.

“The Xiyu Mountain Range has traditionally been a natural barrier separating the Orthodox Alliance from the evil cultivators of the Outer Sea. Two months ago, there was a great earthquake here, after which, a rift appeared. The rift was infested with evil energy, and when we learned about it, we immediately called elite disciples from all factions and assigned them to guard it. Now that the evil forces have been mostly controlled, we are calling for lower-levelled disciples to help…

“Using the Savant stage as the boundary, the camp is divided into two parts. The outer camp is the accommodation for the elite disciples of each faction, while we are to live in the inner camp. As for that place,” the leader pointed to a row of shops at the junction of the inner and outer camps, “Elixirs, magical artefacts, talismans, and all manner of cultivation needs can be bought here if you need them. If you have nowhere to sell the monsters that you’ve hunted, you can also sell them to the Alliance. However, the money will be much less.”

“Senior Brother, where is there a Boundless Ranking here?” someone asked.

“Where the Boundless Ranking is, so will the Orthodox Alliance be.” The team leader looked up with eyes full of aspiration at the white wall in the centre of the camp. “Each and every one of the tens of thousands of cultivators of the Alliance takes pride in being able to be on the Boundless Ranking.”

The Boundless Ranking only showed the top three of each cultivation stage. The rankings of the Grand Magnificence stage and beyond were not visible to lower-levelled disciples. Such a shining white wall standing in the centre of the camp could indeed make one yearn to be on the list.
These names, as well as their various battle achievements, were always on the lips of the cultivators in the Heavenly Realms, becoming the spiritual aspiration of everyone.
