A Wish Upon Death

So I died. I know I died, but how come I'm still alive? I'm breathing. It's just a tad bit hard to move. I reincarnated didn't I. Ok... so I'm a baby.

"Look! Look! She's waking up!"

"Yeah, thanks to your shouting."

I agree. You really are loud. I might as well try opening my eyes since I'm awake. Upon opening my eyes I see a short, blue haired kid and a slightly taller (but still short), turquoise haired kid.

"But look. Look! She opened her eyes! She's so cu~~te!"

"James, I understand how you feel, but keep it down."

"Your brother's right, James. Be a little more quiet, Like Aiden. Honestly. If not for the fact that I gave birth to you, even I wouldn't believe you're brothers. Not including your appearance, you temperaments are total opposites," says beautiful women as she comes over with a handsome, cool looking man.

"Hehe. Alright boys, why don't you wait on the carriage. Your mother and I are going take Winter to see the city for the first time. You guys can come too," the man says.

"Okay!" Aiden and James chorus.

"See ya later sis,"James says.

"We'll see you in the carriage little sis," Aiden tells me.

Aiden and James runs out of the room leaving me alone with the beautiful women and handsome man.

The beautiful women comes over to me, who is in a crib, and asks me, "My little girl. Can you recongnize me? I'm your mother. Aren't you a cutie!"

"I'm your father cutie-pie!" The handsome man buts in, shoving his face in front of me.

"Really Chris. Stop scaring her." The beautiful women pushes my father, Chris's, face away and takes a hold of me.

"Sorry Jenessa. James is right, she realy is so cute!"

"Alright. Alright," my mother says She looks down at me and gently tells me, "Sleep darling. We'll be there soon."

Father and Mother smiles at me while walking utside. In my mother's embrace, I felt safe and warm. So this is happiness. I have almost forgotten. God, Buddha, world, fate, or whatever, thank you for giving me a second chance.

As my conscious fades, I promise to protect this happiness and not waste my second chance at life.
