The cave system was massive. Either the goblins left the entrance unattended or they just too excited seeing a large prey and got carried away along with the hunter party. Nevertheless, the entrance was empty, and I took advantage of their carelessness. I still use my stealth as a precaution though.

It seems that my cautionary is not wasted. Around 50 meters inside the cave, I notice a pair of goblins walking back from the inside of the caves. From the tones of the goblins, they were forced to went back doing something they hated. Ohh, they were forced by someone to stand guard even though other goblins are celebrating. I guess I need to relieve them from this torture.

I wait for them to become closer and conjured two mana arrows. Shooting them true, aiming for the goblins head is an easy task for me right now. The arrow stuck true at one of the goblins but the other goblin able to dodge the attack, avoiding a fatal injury. However, half of his cheek got teared up from the arrow shot. The anger can be seen on his face, but it was his last. I fired two more mana arrow and both of them on target. One straight into the goblin's heart and another on the right side of the goblin's c.h.e.s.t. I came close to the dead goblin and fired another arrow onto each goblin for a double sure both of them dead.

I touch both of the goblins and sent them into my dimensional space. Leaving the corpse around may cause me some difficulty later on. I sure can do nothing about the blood left behind, but I don't think other goblins will realize the bloodstain since the cave is already dirty and smells foul.

I carry on walking ahead of the cave and my encounter with the goblins increases. I keep ambushing them and killing them as fast as I can and as silent as I can. I know that the ambush method will not last forever. They will realize that there is something wrong is going on and will be on high alert as soon as they found about it.

Right now, my killing count is reaching around thirty goblins. Most of them are from a pair of goblins' patrol. I guess I am still far from their settlement. The patrol has become quite frequent though by my count. After a long straight walk, I reach a junction at the end of the main entrance tunnel.

The road splits into three junctions. I decided to take the right junction, I like to take a systematic approach to solve a problem. Searching the tunnels one by one is the only logical solution for me. The probability of being right for the first time is abysmal. I'm not that lucky, I probably need to explore every corner of this caves to finally found the goblins settlement.

Well, I'm wrong. My first choice is certainly the correct one or a troublesome one to be exact. Right now, there is a small party of goblins in front of me. They were armed from head to the toes coming out from the right tunnel. I already in my stealth and lucky enough to detect them first.

I don't want to think about what will happen if I failed to detect them first. Seven goblins at the same time are quite impossible for me right about now. There are no other choices, I need to retreat at the junction again. I already halfway through the tunnels when I heard a sound from the other side. Shit, please be bellow three. I can handle three goblins if I don't stress on being stealthy.

It's three! I can handle three. Desperate time called for desperate measures. I barrage all three of the goblins with nine mana balls. The power of my mana balls is different from two weeks ago. A mana ball explosion can easily kill a horned rabbit if targeted on its head. Will severely injured the rabbits if exploded anywhere on its body.

Nine barrages of mana balls are deadly toward goblins. I forsook the accuracy for the b.a.r.e minimum releasing the explosive mana balls as closed up as I can toward the goblins. All hell just breaks loose, one of the goblins dropped dead on the spot. Another severely injured and the other goblins disoriented from the concussive shock. He was able to shield himself from the last minute of attacks. I shot each of them mana arrows, killing them instantly.

Commotions can be heard behind me. The explosion is a dead give away on something wrong happened on their settlement. I quickly run ahead leaving the corpse behind. I still pick up the shield holder's corpse though. I kinda interested in what kind of shield those goblins have. I know the explosion is not that dangerous toward other monsters but for a lower-tier level one monsters, it's fatal. Having a shield like that sure is a lifesaver for them in the future.

My run only lasts for several tens of meters. It took some time but I just realize that the noise is coming from the front of me too. F.u.c.k, I got pincer attack by goblins. Did the plan this or just a coincidence. Probably the latter, but no matter which one, I need to think about how to escape from this predicament.

Behind me are seven party goblins, arms to the teeth by goblins standard. In front of me, by the sound of the gibberish goblins roar, there are more of them there. The logical action is the only one, confronting the part of seven goblins and gambling on my stealth and my magical abilities. I run back toward where I run from and conjuring as many mana arrows as I can.

It will be a tight fight, I may be injured or worse, being killed but I got to do what I got to do. Surviving is one of them. I only live in this world for less than two months. There are many more foods and cuisines I never got to taste damn it. I never got a chance seeing any nation toppled beauty that was a staple on any Xianxia's novels. I need to survive.

I choose a more narrow tunnel section to fight the goblins party. Doing this way increase my chance slightly to survived to fight the goblins. I shoot my arrows as soon as I detected the party arrives at the corner of the tunnels. Taking the initiative like this also because I need to reduce the goblins count as soon as possible. In a few seconds of the confrontations, I have released more than ten mana arrows toward the goblins party.

Two of the goblins died or incapacitated from my attacks. The other five goblins survived because a goblin shaman is erecting a mana shield in front of him. The other two goblins are just unlucky because they are running at the front. The shaman still got injured from the surprise attack though, his left arms are bleeding and one of the surviving goblins appear trying to bandage his arm.

A command from the shaman resulting in three other goblins rushes forward to attack me. I guess that is why they were arms to the teeth, they were escorting the shaman. I attack the trio with the mana balls and what I get in return is not an explosion but a shock therapy. All mana balls shoot by me were slash, deflect and dodge just like that. What kind of goblins are these? I never even heard of a fantasy world where the goblins capable of slashing my attacks like some kind of a cheap cliche manga protagonist.

I change the attack into the mana arrow as soon as I see my attacks as good as spitting at the goblins. The mana arrows give me some respite, it is a stalemate. The goblins stop the charge and hide behind their shield. I keep spamming the arrows to keep them doing that.

The Shaman has finished treating himself. The other goblin which bandaging the Shaman draws a pair of daggers indicating his roles as an agility type fighters. The Shaman must have done something towards the fighters. Somehow, all four other goblins have an afterglow. If I'm not mistaken, they have been buff by the Shaman.

The Shaman then proceed to conjure a firebolt spell. The firebolt spell is an advance fireball spell with the level of the destructiveness is higher several grades. The size of firebolt spells is bigger too. If the spell for mana balls are the size of a tennis ball. The size of fireball spells is a futsal ball and the size of firebolt spells is a basketball.

When the Shaman conjured the spells, I know I am screwed. The level of mastery is too far between us. Fighting the Shaman alone is like fighting Yukino or Yui if those two do not regard my life and seriously trying to kill me. Fighting a shaman and four warriors lets just say I made a wrong bet.

I fired a barrage of mana balls toward the ceilings of the tunnels and succeed in raising the dust cloud between the goblins party and me. I decided on a tactical retreat. I used the dust cover to start my retreat, however, I'm not that lucky. As soon as I twist my body to run in the opposite direction, the firebolt came.

The explosion threw me several feet and onto the tunnel wall. I think I broke several of my ribs and my left arm charred with second-degree burns from the explosion. I laid there without moving because of the shockwaves knocking me disoriented.

Shit, that what you get for trying to be the main character. I have no options left. I wish I can teleport to somewhere else. Times like this are when teleportation really does show its main advantages.

Wait! I do have teleportation, just not by the distance of this world but teleportation into another world. I have the orb.

Not before I teleport into the orb's dimension, the agility type goblin charge toward me and aiming at my left c.h.e.s.t. Straight on my heart, a killing strike. I don't have much anything I can do except just hold up my arms and block the attack with my arms. I hoped that I can be teleported just before the attack arrives but better safe than sorry.

The goblin won. The attack connected. The stab wound is nasty and painful but I avoided the fatal wound by sacrificing my arm. Not only the arm is riddled with a second-degree burn, but also a nasty stab wound. As soon as it is connected, I teleported into the orb's dimension.

Apparently, the goblin which attacks me also teleported along with me. The look of confusion can be seen on his face because of the rapid change in scenery. I took advantage of that to kill him using a mana arrow to his head, killing him instantly.

The failed confrontation cost me half of my arms. The left arm was burned, stabbed and bleeding. The adrenaline dulls the pains a little bit but I know I will pay for them later.

I know the orb disappears after I activated the orb before, but I don't know if the orb will appear or not after I teleported here. I planned to experiment with the orb properties after this delving but It is kinda pointless right now. I need to leave it to the fate about what will happen after I teleported here. I just wish I can see what happened in the outside world.

As soon as my thought of desiring to see about what happened on the outside, a holographic screen popping up in front of me. It shows what happened near the area I disappeared from the tunnel. The view is slightly elevated and covers a whole lot of areas showing what happened on the outside.

Looking out from the live event that happens outside the orb, I can deduce that the is no floating orb left outside after my transportation. I was afraid that the is something left behind after my teleportation, becoming a sign of my entrance toward this dimension.

Can I choose where I teleported? I asked myself. If I can, this orb will be becoming a lot more useful artifact other than a passive support artifact. It will a great attacking artifact.

"Artifact, choose here as an exit teleport point," I asked the system while pointing somewhere on the screen. I don't know if it will work but no harm is done asking the system to do it.

"The d.e.s.i.r.ed exit teleport point is outside the current spawning perimeter. Please select another area within 5 meters radius of this dimensional space." explained the system.

I was ecstatic hearing the explanation from the dimensional system. "Can you put the indicator where I can do an exit teleport point?"

On the screen, a yellow circular line was drawn indicating where I can do the teleportation. Luckily for me, that damn shaman still in the circular line. The time in this dimensional is four-time faster from the outside world. Even with all that happened in here, a fraction only came to pass outside. So, I took the time to roughly clean and bandage my burn and stab wound.

After I was done cleaning and bandaging my wounds, I ask the system once again to show what happened outside. The commotions still run high. The Shaman ordered those goblins and the new goblins arrivals to search every hook and cranny of that tunnel sections where I'm disappeared.

I search around for the agility type goblins which teleported along with me. What happened next delight me greatly. The corpse of the agility type goblins suddenly appears in front of me along with all his belongings. They float for a while in mid-air and dropped not long after.

Does that mean I can control everything in here? I quickly thought about bringing another random goblin in front of me. The system brings about a random goblin. I order the system to separated all of his weapon and stuff and the system did just like that.

I ignore the opportunity to experiment on the control of the orb space and focusing on what happened outside. I took a dagger from the goblin and wait for my chance.

It does take quite some time when the opportunity came by again. I watch again the displacement of other goblins just to double-check the chances.

I took a deep breath and think about where to teleports. It was done without sound and any notice. Just like that, I was teleported behind the shaman without him knowing. The kills took less than a second. I thrust the dagger as soon as I teleported outside. The shaman shock looks about what happened can be seen on his face.

"Ho...how?" he stuttered using what breath left on him.

"Plot armor, my friend. Plot armor." I replied about what he asked while taking out the dagger. I thrust the dagger once again targeting the left side c.h.e.s.t of the shaman. He died instantly after I take out the dagger for the second time. All that happened only use the other functional right arm.

The goblins that guarded the shaman froze seeing what just happened in front of their eyes. I conjured two mana arrows and shot at them. The other two fully arms goblins which in the party with the shaman before died without doing anything to avenge their master because of the bizarreness of what happened.

All other goblins woke up from their stupor when I do that. They scream and run away from me right after. I was left with three fresh goblins corpse and two older corpses I kill earlier. I took them again inside the orbs and proceed deeper into the tunnel searching the perfect groove to teleported back into the orb.

I teleported back as soon as I found the right area. I plan to rest for four days on the inside. It is equivalent to one day outside world because of the common time dilation properties found on another dimension such as dungeon. It will be enough to heal the arm into a b.a.r.e minimum functionality.
