An omu-rice with the word “perverted” painted on it is brought to me. I look at the assassin in protest, and he looks at me quizzically.

“You’d better eat quickly, or it’ll get cold. Don’t just look at me. Eat the food.”

“No need to be in such a hurry. The omu-rice won’t run away. Well, I’ll eat it.”

I put the hot omu-rice in my mouth. The soft and fluffy egg is a hit with my taste buds, and of course, the sourness of the tomatoes is a perfect match, making me feel that the ingredients themselves are delicious.

I hold my cheeks with one hand as if they are about to fall off. As I open my mouth to match the movement of the spoon, which never stops, the omu-rice disappears before I know it.

“It was delicious. Call the chef! I want to thank her.”

“Yes, hello. I’m the chef. ”

The assassin bows her head to me. I overreact to that.

“Oh, my God! Such a beautiful woman is a chef. Would you like to have an after-party in my room tonight? ”

“In what universe do you pick up chefs?”

“No, only because the chef is the assassin. Anyone will fall in love again and again.”

The assassin turns red as ketchup and mumbles something under her breath as I breathe out the embarrassing line.

“It was delicious, even for me, the omu-rice.”

“Well, I’m glad to hear that. It’s been a while since I’ve cooked, and I was wondering if it would be okay.”

The assassin gestures with the frying pan. Maybe there is some reason she doesn’t cook for herself and has someone else cook for her.

“Why haven’t you been cooking lately? Do you have a good chef or something…?”

When I expressed my concern, she shook her head lightly to the side. Then she pointed at me and turned a bitter look at me.

“I was busy checking up on Sagami…when he is to be alone, his way to go home…where he’s from, his education…”

“It’s so naughty that you’ve been checking out every detail about me, assassin.”

“What are you talking about? You left some evidence on purpose. I mean, I didn’t even find anything about your educational background, no matter how much I looked.”

The assassin looks doubtful. I didn’t go to high school or college, so there is no way to find out my educational background.

But if I took the university entrance examination, I could easily get into the Former Imperial Universities of Japan. I am that confident. As a man who is going to support an assassin, I should not be unreliable, or she will be angry with me.

As I was thinking such a thing, the assassin asked me an unimportant question as if she was going to start something serious.

“I want to take a bath.”

The assassin glances at me, waiting for my permission. Of course, I’m totally okay with it, but I want to tease her a little.

“You can come in with me.”

“I…I’m not confident in my style. ”

“What? …You don’t mind if I get in? ”

The assassin looked a little surprised, and then she swung her head to the side.

“No, but… Don’t you want to see me with wet hair? Sagami?”

“I want to see it! ”

“Then let me take a bath.”

“Go ahead! ”

” …Then.”

With that, the assassin got up from her seat. Then she stared at me and warned me.

“Don’t ever peek. If you do, I will kill you. ”

With that, the assassin headed for the bath. I learned that my worst enemy was myself.

The rationality that tells me not to go and the pure desire that tells me to go. I pondered and came to a conclusion.
