  The guards outside the mansion recognized the suspicious-looking Jiang Changning and hurried in to report. After a while, a man and a woman in bright red wedding dresses came out of the mansion.

  Jiang Luo pulled her newlywed husband, Gu Xiujing, and sneered twice, “Didn’t you elope with someone? You still have the face to come back.”

  Jiang Changning stared at Jiang Luo with hatred, her eyes were bloodshot: “You sent someone to harm me!”

  ”Sister, are you mistaken about something here? Didn’t you just meet your lover in private? You left the Hou Mansion and insisted on doing such a shameless scandal. Now that you realized your actions are in vain, so you come here and slander me!” (Hou here means marquis title or a nobleman, but I will just continue using the word Hou for convenience)

  After she spoke, Jiang Luo moved closer to the arms of the man next to her: “I’m married to Brother Gu now. Why is my sister so obsessed with something that is not yours?” She had a pitiful look on her face, but the corners of her mouth were lifted, forming a malicious smirk.

  The people around saw them and retreated a few steps.

  The tearing pain in her body almost made Jiang Changning unable to stand properly.

  Her identity as the Gu family’s daughter-in-law has become Jiang Luo’s. Her reputation as a talented girl also had been snatched away by her. Even her mother and brother who loved her the most now, treat her coldly. Finally, Gu Xiujing, who used to treat her gently is also extremely cold to her.

T/n: This girl reaction when she turned back time was so stoic that i was a bit confuse whether or not she realize whats happening. This reminded me so much on the novel ‘Greeting, Ninth Uncle’. Also… her name is Jiang, the same with her mom but her family is Hou… does that mean she use her mom’s family name instead?? Kinda confusing…

edit: Hou just means Marquis or nobleman, so her family has a noble title basically
