“Cursed those Konoha Shinobis. Thankfully, they haven’t done anything so far, but we have to do something,” a Squad Leader whined.

Nagasawa had a strange look on his face, and he added, “Yes, those detestable Konoha Shinobis should just die!”

He was thinking about taking out his Konoha forehead protector and tying it to his head, saying, “There is only so much Kusagakure can do, so I will stop being Kusagakure Shinobi.”.

The Squad Leader beside him would definitely be surprised, but he held back as he had not gotten the crucial information that he was after.

Although it would be fun, this was an important mission.

After bidding farewell to the Anbu Squad Leader, who badmouthed Konoha Shinobi in front of the one, Nagasawa returned to his office.

Nagasawa locked the door and walked to the cabinet furthest away from the desk.

There were three cabinets in the office. There was one on the right and two on the left.

Leaving the tavern, Kakashi went to the Kusagakure Hospital with curiosity.

After observing all the way, Kakashi found that they had fewer doctors and nurses than in Konoha’s hospital. There were many patients coming and going, but he did not see any doctors.

Kakashi pretended to visit the patient and entered the ward. Then he saw a scene that made him frown.

A doctor in a white coat grabbed the arm of a young red-haired woman and placed it in front of a Kusagakure Shinobi lying on the bed. He said, “Hurry up and bite. Just bite it.”

The red-haired woman nodded and said, “I understand. I will come here every day.”

Kakashi clenched his fists. He left the ward with no expression on his face and walked out of the hospital.

He did not expect that Kusagakure Hospital was actually a detestable place. There was no such thing as Medical Ninjutsu here, only heal bite.

Kakashi felt that if his Sensei’s wife, Kushina, saw this scene, she might go berserk and tear down Kusagakure.

The red-haired woman should be one of the few survivors in the Land of Whirlpool that no longer existed.

Although Kakashi really wanted to give Dr. Inoue a good beating, he was in the middle of a mission, and he could not afford to expose himself because of this.

This was the enemy’s village, and he could be surrounded by the enemy anytime.

After asking around, Kakashi noticed that the sun was about to set, and it was already dusk. He felt a little guilty, so he went to the hospital again and happened to see the red-haired woman walk out of the hospital.

Midori Inuzuka smiled and said, “Hey Kakashi, it seems that I beat you to it, huh?”

Kakashi ignored the Midori Inuzuka’s cheap taunt and asked Ensui, “Have you found anything about those Anbus?”

Ensui shook his head and said, “We didn’t find anything. Inuzuka and I went to check the location that Squad Leader sent us, but we didn’t find any useful information.”

Midori Inuzuka pouted and said, “That’s because you didn’t use my method. Otherwise, we would have definitely found something. We won’t just return empty-handed like now.”

The corners of Ensui’s mouth twitched, and he said helplessly, “Are you seriously telling me to ask directly? We’re asking about Anbu members here. If I ask just like that, they’d obviously know I’m a spy, you dunce!”

“Well, that is the best way I can think of. Midori has tried her best.” Midori Inuzuka looked exhausted.

Nagasawa looked at the three of them and used his Color of Observation Haki to check the surroundings again. After confirming that there was no one around, he said, “tell me about what you managed to find. Ensui, you’re first.”

Ensui said honestly, “I didn’t find anything. I didn’t find any information about the three Anbu.”

Nagasawa nodded and consoled him, “It’s okay. If it were that easy, I wouldn’t need to sneak into Anbu. At least you try.”

Then Nagasawa looked at Kakashi.

Kakashi said: “According to my observation in taverns and other places, Kusagakure is not united. There are many Kusagakure Shinobis who do not want to go through war, but some do prefer war.”

Nagasawa showed a thoughtful expression and then said: “Okay, Kakashi, you did a good job. Alright, I’ll tell you about what I got next. After searching the whole Kusagakure, I found the Kusagakure Anbu base. Then, when I was about to sneak into the Anbu base, I happened to stumble upon one of Kusagakure Anbu’s Squad Leader. I knocked him out and disguised myself as him. I infiltrated the Anbu base, found some confidential documents, and participated in an important meeting led by the Kusagakure’s Kage.

Everyone was dumbfounded as Nagasawa found too much.

Instead of going through a roundabout way, Nagasawa just disguised himself as a Squad Leader to read confidential documents and even attended an important meeting.

Midori Inuzuka’s eyes sparkled with stars. “Wow, so cool. Midori also wants to be like you. Squad Leader, can you take me with you next time?”

Nagasawa smiled and said, “Okay, next time.”

For some reason, when Nagasawa said this, Midori Inuzuka seemed to see a pigeon flapping its wings. Was she seeing things?
