Chapter 69: The Attack to the Crew

In the dusk, Shen Chengjing was dressed in a long robe as she strolled below the city wall. Yang Lanchu, who was riding a horse at high speed, swung a sword at her.

“I shall take your life.” Yang Lanchu shouted as she drew her sword.

Shen Chengjing heard the sound and took a step back to avoid the sword.

Her footsteps were unsteady and she fell to the side. Yang Lanchu was quickly approaching her on her horse. The moment the horse stepped toward her, it suddenly retreated crazily.

It raised its hooves, causing Yang Lanchu to fall off its back. The horse stepped on her side all of a sudden. With a “Ka-cha”sound, her leg was broken.

“She really is a member of the evil faction.” Yang Lanchu was shocked. Shen Chengjing had actually caused the horse to panic and escape recklessly.

Actually, this was a psychological tactic. Many years ago, she had coincidentally met her teacher and learned a mind reading technique. Whether it was a person or an animal, she could control them.

The director gave Shen Chengjing a very big shot, especially the look in her eyes. He was a little thrilled. It took him more than ten seconds to react and shout cut.

Zhou Yuncheng sat on the soft couch and watched Shen Chengjing’s performance. He was also a little surprised. A young girl who had just graduated could actually act with such facial expressions. This was not a simple accomplishment.

“Let’s change to the second scene.” The director was in a great mood.

At this moment, Shen Chengjing realized that not only Zhou Qing had been replaced, but Producer Chen had also disappeared.

“Little Shen, maintain this state for a while. If you have enough time, you can finish the scene by night. I’ll give you a day off tomorrow. Your fever has just subsided. You should rest more and maintain your state,” the director said enthusiastically as he reached out to take her hand and helped her up.

Yang Lanchu became silent. Everyone saw that the director liked Shen Chengjing, so they followed him.

In the dark night, a few black shadows swiftly arrived.

“Bang!” Gunshots were heard, and the crew was in a mess.

“Gunshots? Why are there gunshots?” Someone panicked. They didn’t know if it was a real gun or a fake gun. After all, the crew had all kinds of props.

“Bang!” The second shot was fired. The handyman who was talking just now was shot in the arm, and blood kept spurting out.

The director was frightened as well. He saw a few figures flash over like killers in movies. They were very agile and quickly appeared in front of Shen Chengjing.

“Big Brother, it’s her,” a man in black said. The scene was chaotic, and no one knew what he was talking about.

Seeing this, Zhou Yuncheng threw down his cigar and stepped forward. He took out a silver gun from his waist and shot at the man.

“Ah!!” The man was shot in the head. He stared at Shen Chengjing with wide eyes, and his body slowly fell down.

Although Zhou Yuncheng had retired from the army many years ago, he still had the skills of a well-trained soldier. He was agile, fast, accurate and ruthless. A few men rushed forward and surrounded him.

“Call the police, call the police.” Shen Chengjing came back to her senses and dialed 110 on her phone.

Unfortunately, her phone was kicked away by someone. It broke into pieces when it fell.

“Follow me.” A man in black reached out his hand to grab her arm. Shen Chengjing seized something from the side and sprayed it in his eyes.

“Ah!” The man covered his eyes and kept struggling as he knelt on the ground.

Shen Chenjing had used a bottle of red pepper. It was so painful that his eyelids were torn open. She took the opportunity to drag her costume out.

“You want to run?” Someone was watching her from outside. Seeing her try to escape, he quickly flashed in front of her to block her way.

“Why do you want to catch me?”
